Guidelines for Business Operations: 3 CE's

Introduction to Discernment Counseling: 1 CE

Not every couple is ready for couples therapy. When one partner wants to leave and the other wants to stay, it's important to recognize when a different approach may be needed.

  • Describe the three possible pathways (Path One, Path Two, and Path Three) that couples may choose following the Discernment Counseling process.
  • Explain the roles of the "leaning in" and "leaning out" partners and how these roles influence the counseling process.
  • Recognize the primary interventions used during Discernment Counseling sessions to facilitate clarity and informed decision-making.
